Information Notice

With this document, pursuant to Articles 13 and 122 of Legislative Decree 196/2003 (“Privacy Code”), and in accordance with the provisions of the General Provision of the Privacy Authority dated May 8, 2014, the Data Controller provides users of the Website with some information regarding the cookies used.

What are cookies

A “cookie” is a small text file created on the user’s computer when accessing a specific website, with the purpose of storing and transmitting information. Cookies are sent from a web server (which is the computer running the visited Website) to the user’s browser (Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Microsoft Edge, etc.) and stored on the user’s computer; they are then sent back to the Website on subsequent visits. During navigation, the user may also receive cookies from different sites (so-called “third-party cookies”), set directly by the operators of those websites and used for the purposes and according to the methods defined by them.

Controller’s Cookies

The Website uses only technical cookies, for which, pursuant to Article 122 of the Privacy Code and the Provision of the Privacy Authority of May 8, 2014, no consent from the data subject is required. More specifically, the Website uses:

  • technical cookies necessary for user navigation (only for site managers), as detailed below. Without these cookies, the Website cannot function properly.
  • a technical (functional) cookie to facilitate language preference selection.
  • a technical cookie that facilitates user navigation by recognizing the user and preventing the brief cookie information banner from reappearing in the case of visits made within the cookie’s expiration time. It is activated by clicking “OK” on the banner or continuing to browse the Website. If this cookie is deleted, the acknowledgment of the banner will not be saved for subsequent visits (see the table below).

Third-party Cookies

Through the Website, certain third-party cookies, including profiling cookies, are installed. Services that install profiling cookies will only be activated by clicking “OK” on the banner or by browsing the Website. Below are details of individual third-party cookies, along with links where users can get more information and request cookie deactivation.

Google Analytics

The Website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. (“Google”) that uses cookies stored on the user’s computer to allow aggregated statistical analysis of Website usage. The data generated by Google Analytics is stored by Google as stated in the privacy notice available at the following link:
Google Analytics Cookie Usage on Websites.
To read the privacy policy of Google Inc., independent data controller for Google Analytics services, refer to:

Processing Methods

Processing is carried out by the Data Controller using automated tools. No data is disclosed or communicated.

Data Provision

Except for strictly necessary technical cookies for regular navigation, the provision of data is left to the user’s discretion after having read the short information in the appropriate banner and choosing to continue using the services that involve cookie installation. The user can therefore avoid cookie installation by keeping the banner (thus refraining from clicking the “OK” button), using appropriate browser functions, or leaving the Website.

Cookie Disabling

Without prejudice to what was stated above regarding strictly necessary cookies, the user may delete other cookies directly via their browser. Each browser has different settings procedures. Specific instructions can be obtained via the links below:

Disabling third-party cookies is also possible through the methods provided directly by the third-party controller, as indicated in the “Third-party cookies” section.
